Ok, I know this is a stupid question but apparently someone changed the settings on my computer so that I will type backwards when using firefox. I have to type all of this in word then copy it to the badweb post, just so I don't go insane trying to type backwards. Anyways, when I type the cursor stays on the left side of each letter I type, so the words are formed right to left. It's very annoying. .resworB xofriF ym fo edisni epyt I nehw sneppah tahw si sihT How do I change the settings back? |

Use Google Chrome or Internet Explorer? Chrome is faster than either though. |

Here Phil, check here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1260866 May help out. I'd try restarting your PC before doing anything. Hopefully it's not spyware/malware. |

After a restart and a firefox update everything seems to be ok.. that was weird. Doing a full system scan with Norton now. If I don't find anything then it may be time to try this Kaspersky Suite I've got sitting around. As for pranks at work, I like taking a screenshot of the desktop with icons, then setting that image as the background and turning all icons off. Takes people a while to figure out why none of their shortcuts work.. |

RE:Pranks at work. I've made an .avi file of a desktop with the cursor going in circles, open that up in Flash, add R2-D2 noises, and save as a flash file, then put it in their start up folder. |

Glad you got it fixed. Too bad it's not reproducible. Z |

If you want to reproduce: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D2%89 Copy the symbol that looks like a circle of commas, and anything typed after it will be aligned right to left. You have to copy what looks like empty space around the character too, because the spaces contain the style formatting that actually causes a change in text alignment. |
