I'm looking at coming up with some ideas, other than naked lady tee's, golf balls and umbrellas, that my company ( a welding co.) can give away to customers and prospective customers. Has anybody received/gave anything really cool that stands out??? Thanks in advance, China |

Well I do! Have a company that does different types of tie-downs for various things. We've used them for some promotional stuff and they are a big hit. Some items, in lots of 1 thousand run around $1/ea with logo, some are more. Let me know!! |

One of the most useful promo items I ever received was a small adjustable wrench (about 6" long, opens to 5/8") with a variety of tools in the handle, a la Swiss Army Knife. It lives with my motorcycles and has seen a lot of use around the house. |

Is it for a golf outing? For potential why not give them something that showcases your companies skills, IE a thin metal Buisness card lazer cut with your companies info or some hand fabricated and welded divot remover or something that showcases your companies talent. For existing customers you can do the same or give them all personal gifts related to their company. IE if it is a automotive supplier give them a car shaped trinket or car related item. But I also guess this would depend on the size of said golf outing as well as amount of people... |

I think the "Courier Bag" with company logo is probably the most useful give-away I've ever gotten. I've gotten one variation or another from my brokerage company, trade shows and (yes!) even from Buell. Naturally the one I use the most is my Buell courier bag but before that I used my Merrill Lynch one every day (at least up until I was employed by Morgan Stanley). |

No, it's not for a golf outting, this is for giveaways and promoting the company. Our thought is golf balls, hats and umbrellas are old. I like the multi-purpose tool idea too. I really like the idea of giving something that can be used daily. |

There is a company up the road in Jackson that makes dog leashes and pet collars that will embroider names and logos onto their merchandise. I'm not sure what else they make. An indirect relative works there, I can get the name in the next few days (if I don't forget). |

Fridge magnets are kept in plain sight for years. You can print out business card-sized magnets pretty cheaply I think. |

Something that I always have in my pocket is a, small, sliding blade inside a plastic key shaped and sized give-away advertisement. I've carried it for over ten years. I don't know who made it, but you can't get more bang for your buck. |

New York City just gave away 15,000,000 condoms and I got a dandy "NICE PACKAGE" shirt from Trojan . . . Seemed like a very popular give away. |

I recieved a multi tool that clamps onto your key ring. It has pliers, phillips/flathead (small and big for total of 4 s.drivers) wirestripper, and is no bigger than a match book. It also has Cummins stamped along the side (insert company logo or name). It is made by a company called Swiss-tech. Between Swiss and Tech is a plus sign but I didn't have a plus sign on my keyboard. |

""NICE PACKAGE" shirt from Trojan" I like. Maybe we can do something similar... "Eutectic Corp, Welcome to the World of Our Rods, We Have the Best Stick-Out Rating In the Industry" |

NECK GAITERS! I have never gotten a piece of free gear that has had so many people asking where they could get one. Of course lots of them were early season Wisconsin riders, but anybody who works outside, hunts, skis.... etc. Plus, all the people here who couldn't get the Buell one could hit you up. Bill |
