what would you guys think it is worth. its an 07 1400 miles. salvage title. dont think it was hurt to bad but i am working on getting the specifics. all blacked. i know it runs decent as i have seen it around town plenty. the guy is wanting to look at my XB12, but says he has to get rid of that first. you know me, i'm thinking that and some cash for my 12 would be a whole lota fun this summer! i dont want to lose my butt if i try to sell that thing anytime soon though. |

I wanted one, till I rode it. not enuf power. (And thats from a guy who rides a XB9) light, nimble, affordable sumo, but not enuf for me. Husky SM 510 R. 510cc 260lbs. Fuel injected. Brembo 320/240. Now thats a sumo. |

The DRZ400SM is a good bike. Reliable...fun...but down on power. A 41FCR flatslide, air box mods, REALLY wake the bike up. Add some cams, and it's all good! |

I was going to post something about being basically annoyed when trying to ride a buddy's DRZ-400SM because of the lack of power, but decided against it. Now I see I'm not the only one who feels that way. Tim, they look cool, and having a bike that light is a bit of fun, but I HATED riding that thing. It was frustrating to feel like I had keep the throttle pinned all the time. Not sure if you've ever ridden one, but if you haven't, I suggest doing so before you decide. |
