Do you have a part number, item number or anything like that. I tried a search for it on Amazon and it didn't come up. Thanks! |

Reading the web page, it say's that the Amazon Sales Ranking is #53,555 and it is #6 in the popular catagory of Books> Nofiction> Automotive> Motorcycles> History The 6th spot out of 100 isn't too bad for a book that hasn't even made it into the hands of the public yet. I wish the best for the authors, may there be many more sales for many years to come! |

The book has now hit #24,105 in Sales Ranking and #2 in its pop cat listing! I bet if one more person does a pre-order it will slip into the #1 slot! Jamie.... I bet if you asked, they would for you. |

Court/Father Guess Where do we get it autographed |

Where do we get it autographed Our recommendation . . . although still in flux . . . is "inside the front cover". But in some cases. . . . .like Pdxs3t. . . it'd make sense to sign where his name appears. Some, Crusty comes to mind, require special attention. I'm surprised that HD didn't snag the killer deal the publisher dangled them and send a book to each person who bought a 2008 Buell or at least do something like send them a $5 off coupon. I can't imagine having the bike and not the book. It'll be fun . . . . just a matter of waiting for the printers now. |

put my pre-order in as well. 25 years of Buell as an Oprah book club pick? LMFAO.... (good thing I didn't have my coffee in my mouth or I would probably be wiping it off my monitor at the moment). |

Court you are pretty sneaky aren't you (300 dpi)! It now just clicked! ;) Well, I think it clicked? Won't know for sure until July.... With BadWeb sales alone I bet the book can be pushed into the #1 slot! |

>>>With BadWeb sales alone I bet the book can be pushed into the #1 slot! It will be interesting to see. There are over 15,00 registered folks but I'll bet that 90% of the traffic is generated by <200 folks. It's part of the internet phenomenon. I recall the last time an internet group was going to "swamp" a manufacturer with complaints. . . there were 7. Part of it is that the numbers are far lower than we think, the 2nd part is the chasm between echoing the rally cry and actually attending the rally. This can swing both ways . . . you'll recall that last year . . badweb registration for homecoming was something (and I'm sure someone has the number) on the order of 100. Actually attendance was a record 373 or something. . . the moral of the story is that a minority of Buell owners are aware of badweb (kind of a shame and I wish every Buell buyer got a "Welcome" package) and that many keep track of homecoming and such events. I'm eager, and confess to being quite in the blind, what happens at homecoming this year. I'm hoping there is much more going on than is apparent. Vickie and I had guests from Amsterdam a while back and got them all spun up about Homecoming . . they now have 11 double rooms reserved. After reading Brankin's recent post about his recent Farht, I'm really hoping that Frank (a huge part of Buell's success in Germany) makes it. We're going to head to Italy to meet Buell folks, swing through London and bring some Australians back to NYC and on to East Troy. It's a great year in the history of Buell and the first two chapters of "More Buell" are penned and in the can.

Just nailed 3 copies. I can see 2 as gifts and one as my "beater" copy that just travels with me. Cool stuff. Hey all, whaddabout maybe doing a raffle of a few autographed copies at Homecoming to raise funds for the Red Flag Fund, Roadracing World Action Fund or something similar? Well that's too bad - estimated delivery date of 03JUL, which means it will be sitting on my front porch while I plan on being in Wisconsin... Oh well, guess I'll have to read it when I get back! |

>>How can one acquire a signed copy? There are several methods . . . all of which revolve around who you want to sign it. If you want to sign it yourself . . . well, no problem. . . Dave and I are selling a special black Sharpie. . . just send $25 to Dave . . . . . . Actually . . . we'll be thrilled to sign them and we're trying to get some spares to bring to Homecoming . . . it'll be kind of like a reunion . . . seeing if we can get the HD folks to chase us off Buell property. Memories of Erik sneaking onto the HD dealer cruise (you'll love that chapter and will soon see that Buell exists today as a result of liberal interpretation of the "and guest" rules) and the banned "World Class American Motorcycles" shirts . . .
