I found this nice write up on ADV Rider. Makes me want to get out and travel, screw the weather.

I was happy to have been able to take a two week trip last year. Our Newfoundland trip several years ago was my only other two week vacation.

After reading a few days ago another ride report on ADVrider about a group of guys taking an offroad trip up through Idaho I did the on road one there last summer), I'm ready for retirement so that I can just take off and ride to my heart's content. Of course I would need a way to pay for it.

I love the Ride Reports/Pics thread at advrider.com!
Check out StrikingVikings around the world ride report, very long, but the guy writes great.

Just a note: If you haven't read this guy's story, you need to.

I am only on page 10 and am mesmerized by his adventure.

As you get further down the pages guys write that they wasted whole days at work reading it.

Wait until you get to where he goes into Mexico. That kid has balls.

I could see where a book would be good reading.
