I haven't seen any rumors for a mid-year bike/news. Buell has now developed a track record with mid year releases. XBRR, STT, Dirt Bike. What's going to happen on the 25th year? Did we ever figure out the shightings of the 105hp 1125R and the 1125CR. From some of my research: "Some new bit of info. Aside from the base model there is also a 1125CR (cafe racer?) model coming. The engine is said to be very responsive to mods and they expect an airbox, EFI Tuner and exhaust system mod to net an easy 165hp on the crank, maybe even more." Has been said Buell has been changing gears to a rotax powered 2 wheel drive trike that increases in length the faster you go to prevent front end lift, abs optional, chameleon chrome (appears and disappears depending on what kind of bikes you ride with). Has also been said in the winter time you can utilize dual snowmobile tracks to the single rear wheel/bogie for added "adventure sport" in the snow drifts to aid in deterring a police pursuit. Sounds almost believable...except for the abs option on a Buell... Hope atleast someone got a kick out of that:P |

the dirt bike is dead, it lies in rest right next to the XR1200. Both bikes were on my short list to get this year. Now I am going to cafe my 2003 XL883R and prob build a BLAST-ard Dirty 500cc bike. If H-D/Buell wont bring me the bikes I want, I will build them. (at which point, if history repeats itself, they will finally build, sell and distribute them) |

That's an inaccurate statement. C'mon. We've seen pictures of them both in Bigfoot's shed. |

Really!?! Here is what I was told about the dirt bikes, past the company announcement that the project shelved: That the dirt bikes that made it to test status would be cut and put in dumpster before they saw the light of day. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/17/ 316269.html?1196013027 And on the XR1200 : That bike will never see the light of day... stepped on toes. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/319792.html?1199323674 Looks like they are lying dead next to each other to me. Only the bikes on showroom will prove any different to me. |

And there in lies your typical provocative babbling. On the one hand you're prepared to state as if in some official capacity as a non official that the XR1200 will never be, which is contrary to so much information still being published in the UK about its expected launch, then you say it's just your opinion. Why don't you quit playing Mr self important and just share the facts as you know them? Why the need to riddle people into argument? Rocket |

Exhibit two: My 2005 Xl883r
And the new Harley 2008 XL1200R The biatch of it is, the bigger displacement, larger tank and the fuel injection all for a cost less than it took me to customize my 883 (which is still an 883) |

Rocket, you are so funny. Riddling people into argument is more polite than some of your past tactics. I wish I really new you guys. That would be a fun time at the pub all right. |
