Hey guys and gals. so I have just been farting around and thought about the idea of a Buell / BadWeb Calendar. I checked into the "custom printing" and found it would be about 15 bucks, then figured add 5 bucks to donate to BadWeb. So looking at $20 plus shipping. Figured if it was a go, and enough people wanted one, we could all post the pics we thought should go into the 12 months and have a vote on who makes the grade or not. we get one cover pic and one pic for each month. 13 pics total. What do you guys and gals think! Blake, this okay with you??? I'll take the time to put it together and submit it for printing. it would be cool to have a calander. as far as pics are concerned, danger dave has a lot of great pics. that's what he does and it would waste a lot less time getting some pics figured out to put in the calander. as far as shirts are concerned, it would be great to have a shirt/hat combo made up for march badness. the c/3ers i believe had hats made up for themselves. now getting blakes blessing on it will be another story. | ||

We did one here at Badweb ~3 years ago that turned out great. People submitted photos here and the best photos were picked. Someone identified the minimum size and resolution required and "final" images of the selected photos were e-mailed to them and they assembled the calendar. It was a pretty big hassle, but it turned out well. | ||

I'm just looking into calendars only. I did not know it was brought up before, that failed why????? what I was thinking is maybe have everyone who wants a pic that they would like in the calendar to submit there #1 photo. (Just the Buell and rider, fully suited up. or just the Buell and a nice background. no bikini bike wash pics) thinking only 1 pic per BadWeb member. then after say a certain deadline. have a thread to vote on the top 12 pics. not too sure on how to do the "vote" thread but just an idea right now. and I say keep it one photo per member due to the overwhelming amount of photos that would potentially pour in. yea, better PM Blake huh!!!! I'm up for the calendar challenge, that is all for me. someone else can do hats and shirts and socks and napkins and such..  (Message edited by rah7777777 on January 01, 2008) | ||

there was one started by blake with some help last year, but some things happened and it didnt come out last year. i was told by him not all that long ago that it was going to make it this year. i am waiting! | ||

Ok guys, got word from the big man (Blake) he has one in the works and is almost done with it. So i'll just sit back with my wallet in hand and wait for his. I mean who else could really do a better job then him???? Can't wait! he suggested a XB Lights calendar but that would be too boring i'd think. | ||

I couldn't wait, so I just made one myself using some of my ride pics and a few from here on the badweb. I like to have my calender on the 1st of the year. (doesn't do much good getting it in February...) They are fairly easy to make using MS Word, I ended up making about 8 calenders for some friends Xmas presents also... | ||

Hmmm.. I was wondering what had happened to the pics that had been sent in for the last calander.. I sent a few and am kind of 'holding my breath' to see which of mine made it in! Oh, damn, it's kind of exciting, like waiting to find out who won homecoming hooligan or something.. Ya know, a sponsor might be interested in purchasing, for some amount of money, space on a calendar such as this, to get a "banner ad" style thing out there to the general badwebbing public, maybe be in someone's face for a month or so on the bottom of the page.
