Probably fiberglass, not plastic. Corbin does a LOT of fiberglass work. |

+1 I've bought a lot of Corbin seats over the years and never had a plastic pan from them, not saying it couldn't happen, ..... |

I looked again at the bottom of the corbin and compared it to the euro. Its a bit more rough so it could very well be fiberglass. Its definitely not metal. |

Corbin said pan is fiberglass. All you plastic folk owe me $5 Got the 2" v&h muffler from a great forum member. Just need the springs. I'm stealing them from that junk rusty pipe till I can order some or maybe another forum member has some. (omg just tapping on the inlet pipe you can feel how thin the rusty pipe really is.) Changing primary fluid today. Back on the road in a few hours. I need to take my carb apart its been spitting and spluttering off of idle since I got it. |

I should be Ok. I also own a 01 FXD that is still carbd. I pulled that thing off more than I'd like to admit. Love CV carbs. Love SU carbs too but no accelerator pump. Just don't tell my shovel that :-) |

I think it might be mislabeled. Looks like it goes to an S2 or an S3. I've had my 97 s1 rear end pulled apart several times and I can't picture anywhere that would fit.

dont be stupid like me and tighten your front wheel on the lift with a funky wheel chock.... thats why the bike was wobbling at 80+mph. i loosened all the pinch and axle bolts while the bike was standing straight up (with the help of my lovely GF) and re-tightened eveything. BOOM no more wobble and i checked it up to 100mph. man these things really need another gear on the freeway.

dont be like me.... my "speed wobble" was caused by me... when changing my front tire i reinstalled and tightened everything down on the lift. i mustve been off a bit. when the bike was on the ground i loosened all the pinch and axle bolts.. let it all relax and re-tightened... boom no "wobble" or anything up to 100mph. man these things need another top gear |

Yes it should be a 27t. Look for a 29T sportster pulley 02 and older. 03 and up will not work. You could get a baker or sim 28 or 29 they are way lighter but $$$$$$ |

Same here. On the way back from a decent ride today, we decided to take the interstate. 80mph was 4k. Bounced back and forth between 80 and 90 for a good 45 mins. Everything held up fine was kinda concerned because yesterday i spent the morning fixing a leaking rocker box. All is well |

Good to hear. I was worried too as it's my first long freeway run. Through SF and the golden gate bridge. I rode it to Pacifica and back. Got my canned ham finally from another BWB. So sick of that wannabe forcewinder. Runs better. Knee just hits it perfectly to keep my inner thigh from burning on the head/exh

I got the white bros pipe. It was a 2 inch pipe, not 2.5 for the thunderstorm bikes. So it will likely go on my S2. I tore it down, polished it, painted the core with ceramic paint, repacked it. It came with 8 plates. I ordered 8 more discs from Fuel Moto. Picked up some longer SS bolts from Ace Hardware. They fit perfectly. Now just to mount it up and find a coupler midpipe.
