Today was the first "real" ride on the X1W and it is just such a fun bike to get out and terrorize the birdies with. There's no real point to this thread other than to say Thank You, Erik Buell for making the perfect bike for the criminally insane! It's kind of like it was made for me...

The all white is sweet. My brother had a 98 S1 that was all white and I just did my race header in white wrap but I love my nuke blue frame and wheels. MM |

Oopezoo, Drop me a line, we'll go riding if you like. There's a few Buells around here. I see a Ulysses, an XB Lightning and a Cyclone running around every so often. That's a K&N Clubman that I mounted upside down - it's a pretty comfortable riding position for me. I had a white S1W for a few years and did that bike every like to accelerate. I wish I had kept that one. |

Gotta get this pig back on the road first. This afternoon I picked up what I think is the last of the hardware I need to properly mount my exhaust. Now I just just need the weather to cooperate so I can get a coat of silicone sealing paint on this exhaust header I wrapped. Today wasn't exactly a good spray paint day....LOL. Hoping it will be mobile again by next weekend. |

Yesterday was a bad painting day, all right. I took the S2 out for a ride late in the afternoon and the wind was gusting so hard I had to lay on the tank. Damned farmers cutting down all the trees, what the hell's the matter with them? |
