So I did a little shopping last week and bought a new Shorai battery since mine was shot. Paid 195 shipped and I love it this girl has never turned on so quickly in and talk about light weight. I also found a good deal on a Kuryoken Pro for 125 shipped so I bought it since all I had was a velocity stack and no filter. All and all everything took me around 30 min to install. I need to get a new intake air sensor and grommet as well as upgrade my exhaust before joy riding but she will get me to and from work for the time being. Pics coming I always have trouble reducing pic size...

I just found this now I need to find a clip to hold that pin in place or it will keep sliding out of the hole and the flap spins all the way open...

You can find those "e" clips at just about any hardware store or at Lowes, home depot.

There is always that one thing a PO does that makes you cringe every time you think about it. For what its worth I have spanked 2 other modded x1's here in town both of which have a sidewinder and V&H race pipes etch so I cant complain. that was before the hypercharger and cracked headers so we will see how she feels when I get a full set up.

Those pipes must be really loud... I'm guessing you lose some torque with no back pressure.... am I right?

V&H Torque cones mean the world I am curious to see hoe it feels with a D&D but I may be re welding another .45 in the header instead of replacing the exhaust because I am a cheap sob and also sturdy it up a bit with a brace somehow in the middle. If I keep them this way I plan on welding in baffles so I can get more back pressure and go from there.
