What does it take to seal the holes on an x1 bike switched over to be used on a carbed bike. what all needs done to the tank |

I've never personally done it, but from what i've read the most often way is to gut the fuel pump and add an inline petcock. |

I use short bolts and nylon washers, with the head of the bolt and the washer inside the tank; get the largest diameter that will fit in the hole. I placed a M2 petcock at the low spot of the tank, back by the battery. Be sure you locate it so it doesn't hit the rear head. The tank is easy to drill, and I use flange nuts with permatex #1 around the petcock bolts instead of threading the tank wall. I retained the original fuel filter. |

+1 with Fox An X1 tank won't physically fit (at least on an S1), it fouls where the fuel connection is. |

well im working on gathering part for this mod, i was under the impression that the front part of the frame was the same on all of the tubers. and the seat wont matter as i will be puting a different one on. and it wont fit were the connection is could i just move the connection. |
