I have been working on an M2 cyclone for the past couple of months. I cut the subframe and mounted a Ducati Monster seat, put an S1 tank on, dirtbike handle bars, new levers, dominator dual headlights, cut front fairing, X1 front end, mini gauges, forcewinder intake, vance and hinse exhaust, custom belt guard, oil pick-up, integrated tail light, front directionals. Below is a picture. I'll add more soon. I'll also be painting the tank due to the bubbling in the paint.

Nice lines, look forward to seeing it painted to tie it all together. What color will you be using?

Paint is touchy, give it plenty of time to cure before putting fuel in the tank. The raised self adhesive Buell tank lettering should still be available too, if you want to put them back on your bike.

I'll be painting the tank a metallic grey and the front fairing a proper flat black. The front fender for now will be staying the sticker collage because there are a few cracks and i'll be buying another one in better shape to paint down the road.

Imb4u, I sent my monster seat off to be recovered and have the factory seat and tail on it right now. I'll get some pics when it gets back. I used the monster seat cowl and side panels as well. Torn between swapping the front headlight for a vrod headlight. My bike is molten orange now and the monster cowl/trim is matte black til I get it all painted in a month or two.

How'd you end up mountin your monster seat and what kind of subframe cutting did you do? I chopped the center out of the rear bend so my taillight (motodynamics smoked led) could mount up flush with it. I've got the Vance and Hines ssr2 as well, smoke front led signals. I can't decide between clubmans, clip ons, and crossroads bars. Still have the factory ones now. Also got some billet levers, billet master cylinder cover, and did some pOlishing of my shifter and brake lever, hid headlights, new rear shock, new grips, front and rear axle covers, buell racing pegs

I cut off the U of the subframe and left the center bar. I took some raw metal L bracket and bolted it to the center bracket to mount the tail light. The Ducati seat is mounted by taking the rear latch bolt and replacing it with a threaded bolt and put a whole in the middle of the subframe and screwed it in. for the hook from the stock and and installed it in the front of the Ducati seat so in the end it slides in the front and bolts in the rear. I also took the electrical that was mounted on the side and put it under the seat. Over the winter (soon) I am going to block out the triple trees and the bottom of the forks. and also paint the tank and fairing as well as polish a few parts. Clean her up a little.

That's exactly what I did except I made a new front piece so I could sell my old seat. I left my electronics in place and used the side trim pieces from a monster which fit perfectly and hides it all. That's about the same with me, I'm in vet school o over
Christmas break I'm gonna paint it all and powder coat the motor and frame and all as well. I do liek the white and black color scheme. Might do my bike white with a black stripe outlined in red and do my frame red as well. I'm debatin numerous color schemes right now

Not bad. To bad that rear subframe support is just a straight bar. It would look a lot nicer as an arc.

I like the belt guard, and the mini flyscreen gives a great line.

So a little update on the bike. I wrapped the exhaust in black header wrap. I got the ducati seat re-upholstered so it looks nice and new. When I bought the seat it was very weathered and had some dry flaking on the back section. I took the tank and front upper fairing to get painted. Also, the choke cable was broken so I replaced that. I'll post a picture once the bike parts are back from paint.
