Sorry for being lazy. Can't find my CD manual and I don't know if the FSM is up-to-date (so to speak.)
Attach all fasteners and tighten from the heads down or from the muffler up?

The proper exhaust sequence is not in any
FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL because you are supposed to born knowing this ...

EXHAUST ASSEMBLY Class 101, just PM me for a copy ...

I snug everything up and then start the bike. If there's a bind, it should shake itself into a comfortable position, and then I tighten from the heads down. If you tighten it up and there's a bind, you'll end up breaking a stud or the front clamp.

Follow exhaust flow.

Heads first.

Wiggle the rest of the system to 'settle' it all.

collector bracket.

wiggle.

front muffler clamp.

wiggle.

etc.
