I like both of those links the first bike really looks great, a lot of effort into it. I like how they used a different tank instead of keeping the standard tank like many people do. It really shows that they put effort into it
And as for the frame, looks neat. If given the choice I'd rather have a sportster frame, but I still like that frame as well

If you can make a cafe racer out of a Gold Wing:
theres one nearby here for a grand thats in great shape. normally the old wings dont drop down very low in price. the first thing i thought was if i wouldnt have just bought another damn car id grab it and strip her down for a musclebound cafe type bike.

Ft, while those look good, I'd call 'em cafe styled...and that GL looks awesome.
I see true cafe's in the traditional sense as having narrow tires, longish wheelbases, conservative steering geometries, double cradle frames, and twin shocks.

Cafe' on a Buell = BUTCHERED JOB PERIOD! That is not what they were intended to be... to each his/her own, but just as bad as making a Buell a Chopper. What a hack job!

Blks... definitely not an OE fender
Guell... Similar to a Duc999 fender but its not. Its more jagged. I like it. I want one!
That Goldwing is ridiculous. I would have never guessed what is was without the "Goldwing" on the side.
I would rather see a cafe styled Buell than a chopper. At least they remain race inspired vs. lounge chair inspired.
My X1 probably doesn't appeal to everyone, but still a Buell. I love it.. and that's all that matters. Its like having an ugly girlfriend. I am the only one that has to enjoy riding her. She puts a smile on my face, who cares what any one else thinks.

I found an M2 cafe fiberglass tail section on Ebay yesterday. Don't have the link. There were about 8 of them left. Looked pretty nice. It was very much a cross between the factory M2 tail and a traditional hump cafe tail.

What are Buells "intended to be"?
I believe the M2 tail looks like ass and is ugly. I don't know what it was "intended" to be, but ugly is what it is.

LOL. A lot of people feel that way.
I believe it's intended to be a big stable two-up platform. it is that. Two-up is key on the M2. Not exactly cafe but damn if there aren't days I look at it and it seems to have a cafe look just as it came from the factory.
I like both of the examples that where shown above but for different reason.
