Well, I had an "oopsie" and crunched my K&N Air Filter on my Forcewinder Intake so I need another one.

Problem is that the K&N replacements cost over $70.00.

Is there a cheaper replacement filter I can use?

I seem to remember that EMGO offered one but I don't know if it fits the Forcewinder intake.

Dave,

Would $40 be too much to spend?

Michael,

$40.00 sounds a lot better than $70.00.

Is that for a new knock-off or a used K%N?

Either would work for me.

Used K&N sir... Ask nice and I can clean and oil it if you don't have the stuff. I use PJ1. Much better than K&N oil in my opinion.

Check the K&N site. Part number is F024E4 IIRC. I don't think it was quite $70. Not trying to foil a sale here.

The Part number on the actual Force Filter isn't on the K&N site, they might have been slightly 'custom' for Force. As I recall the flange was angles 5° in.
There's at least three or four that will work on the K&N site (search by critical dimensions). The closest one is RC-3680, $38.00. Thay all come sort of greyish white, until ya oil it. I use the Summit air cleaner oil, it comes in Yellow! (plus a few other flavors.)}

Not offended if sale is foiled. $40 included parts he did not need (econowinder set-up)

Dave.. if you need the filter only and $30 helps you out Purpony was interested in the pre-filter. Does not matter to me... just tryin to help out some fellow buellers.
