I just picked up a Vanson's leather buell jacket. It has a really large bright blue logo on the back and front. It's a teensy bit small on me though. I got it with a 2002 blast with 6000 miles. $1300 bike and jacket. If those prices are normal, I may have to store this jacket as a collectible o_0 |

It's because they're worth it... great quality, fits like a glove. I have the black and red one hat i got on ebay years ago for 350 or so... i'd like the blue/black so i'd have one for each bike but not at those prices. |

I have XL size, the 'official' Buell/Vanson jacket from the tubeframe days. It fits like it's for a barrel chested, toothpick-armed person. I can barely get the sleeves over my clothes. Got it close to new, still had the leather smell. The fit really caps the upper limit of temperature use. The opening panels in front are a good idea, but executed not thought through, it looks like it was added at the last second for marketability, not like somebody at the factory had actually tried them in different weather conditions. Sounds like I'm knocking Vanson, but I love the look, the leather is thick, solidly built, just the fit isn't right for me personally. And odd, because I have skinny arms. They are thick leather, the pads I added to the elbow and shoulder (almost) seem superfluous |

I have a Medium Vanson just like the first one listed. I paid $250 for it about a year or so ago. It fits great, Other than it seems shrot at the waist, but not really. With the pants it would be a perfect fit. I have big arms, and this thing still has plenty of room for a few more inches in there. It makes me look like beast when I wear it lol. |

The helmet is a Simpson, I believe.... I noticed the Vanson pricing getting high too. I've been looking for one with the Buell logo's(I have a plain Vanson) but not at those prices.... |
