After having Pizza at Roma's Sat night, the X1 wouln't start. Push started it in the parking lot to get it back to the Alpine Valley hotel. We all took a look in the hotel parking lot, and put in our 2 cents to figure out what the problem was. We couldn't figure it out, but it quite humorous to see Union-man (pat) push start to bike uphill after betting he could. He won! Sunday morning Andymnelson pulled up and asked if we checked the small wire going to the starter. I though we had. He took a look. The bike fired right up! I just want to say THANK YOU for all the guys who tried to help. You guys are GREAT! |

I still think we should have left it disconnected for the ride home just to watch pat push start it each time we stopped! |

Wilson- I did not go...we stayed at the Country Inn, and we crashed EARLY! Friday was such a long day for us (got up at 4:00 to head out....then all of the emotional, mental and physical exhaustion of our our 12.5 hour trip to East Troy!), and Saturday we got a lot of riding in as well...we were just beat! I agree tho..shame we didn't meet. There are lots of people that I didn't get to meet that I would have liked too....guess I'll just have to go again! |
