Aren't they part of the headlight brackets on the S1's too? Maybe you can find those on e-bay, possible the X1 mounts will work since the fork tube size is the same, may just have to bend them back a bit for the proper S1 angle...

Sal,
Can you shoot a picture of your headlight bracket? I've got a set of M2 flyscreen mounts that might work. They bolt to the headlight mount.
Kevin
Still interested in the headlight?

See that bare metal? That's where someone cut something off.

Brin,
I don't think so. That sure looks like corrosion to me. I believe that there are tabs that mount behind the bolt that holds the headlight to the bracket.
Sal, I didn't get to look last night. Hopefully tonight will go better. Cathys pain meds weren't doing the trick last night. More Fentanyl patches should equal better?
I'll hold onto the headlight for you. Let me know when you are ready.

I just took a look at a set of S1 brackets I've got and the flyscreen mount just bolts up to the side and lays flat under the headlight mount bolt. You can see the shadow/outline on your picture where it was located.

Sal,
The clip are as I expected, they fit between the bracket and the headlight. I can't part with these, they are going on my Blast when the M2 front end goes on it in a few weeks. They should be available from any Buell dealer. Expect to have to order them, but they will show up in about 10 days. Be aware that Brin seems to have lots of advise, not all correct. I keep hoping to get this board to understand that correct information is way better than posting drivel. Not a lot of success.
Kevin

Kevin, right you are it's the turn signal mark, the brackets actually fit behind the bracket and run behind the turn signal, my bad. Not quite like the mounts you pictured, more of an L shape. The M2 mount looks like it could work. The M2 mounts are available new from American Sport Bike for $22.00. Don

Oh, I know I'm not always correct, LOL...I try to mention that. HAHAHA

But, who is always correct? ; )

I've only ever seen X1 and M2 mounts, and I assumed that the X1 and S1 mounts were the same, which IIRC (and I'll check tomorrow when I'm in the garage on the X1) were one piece. (But I could be wrong you know).

Brin isn't trying to lead anyone astray, just participating in the conversation and trying to help out, which is what many do here.

I was also only familiar with M2's and X1's (which are one piece integrated headlight/flyscreen mounts) and tried to offer a viable solution, which is why I asked if the they were the same on the S1's.

Beside that, some threads go ignored until someone posts some misinformation, then everyone who knows better can jump in and make appropriate corrections. (yeah, I've been guilty of that more than a few few times) Anyway, glad Kmbuell and Never2late could verify the part needed. Now Stephen just needs someone with extra parts to help out.
