Texas Joe, think Texas... And work on 1313 as well. You guys really need to make a S2 Gathering is was the pinnacle of my Buell Ownership Experience.

If I can make it to MBV then you guys can make it to Texas.

Nah...if 1313 wants to ride a tuber, he'll probably ask to borrow my S1W again, like he did at Last Ride!

J/K Brankin, you know it was NO problem to let you ride the ol' girl (but I do still need to clean 'er up since it rained on us the whole time)...

Depending on how work goes in the coming months....may just have to come see what Texas is like.

Step one done. Got a replacement pushrod tube from the race shop (gonna have to make a note to pick thru their old tuber stuff soon...). Now to get a 5/16-18 helicoil for that one bolt, and some hose to plumb the XB breathers...

Well, I've got 400 miles on the CR today. All I an say is WOW! Mostly tight mountain curves, this is why I wanted the CR, the lower gearing is perfect.
I don't like the mirrors, (can't see or adjust them with the high bars), and I don't like the amount of wind hitting me.
I will attempt to add an R fairing next summer. I'm sure I can figure out a way.
And with the double bubble windshield it should be perfect.

Frank,
I guess, technically, I'm still a FAG since I still have the sportster chassis. : )

Art, maybe next summer I'll find a deal on an R and we can swap parts : p. I want a CR, but no way funds allow it for this year.
