So, my girlfriend backed into my 01' X1 yesterday and messed it up pretty good. It scratched my mirrors, the bread box, chain fairing, messed up my throttle tube, bent both brake levers. The worst is though that my Force Exhaust was cracked. I was wanting to know what are some of options for a FULL exhaust system. I dont have the stock headers so I can go with a slip on. So please give me some ideas on exhaust systems, what you think about them, and about how much they cost. Thanks alot guys for all the help. See ya, Matt

First thing's first...time for a new girlfriend!

It'll cost ya some bucks one way or the other.
Other than the Force, D&D makes one:

There are some others, I'm just not sure what's available here in the States.

+1 on the D&D. It is a great system, and it's built like a tank. You need the updated Y hanger for it though, but I think that came out in 01, should you should already have it.

first things first..

I've never heard the full D&D system, but I've got the slip-on and it's great as long as you're ok with scaring children and small dogs.

Full D&D system is the same, just more so. I have to coast 2 blocks to my driveway or I get complaints from my more senior neighbors.

The D&D was way too loud for me. I switched to a Supertrapp which I absolutely love. No regrets. The D&D was an "unnecessary noise" ticket waiting to happen.

Also with the D&D you will need to use the Y front hanger which is about $125.

I have the full system, and I don't think it is that loud. Very deep, very throaty, but not loud. It doesn't give you any raspy high frequency noises or pops, just a nice deep growl.
