Limited said what I was thinking also. I just updated my stock ecm with the map from a race ecm using ecmspy. Much cheaper and now I have the ability to do TPS/AFV resets and tune. Sweet looking bike! |

The intake looks like a factory S&S. Like this one.

I just noticed, you should highly consider getting the updated shifter. I replaced mine last year. It made a HUGE difference in shifting, especially finding neutral. It also took out about 80% of the slop. |

I paid like $150 at the dealer for mine. Make sure to take the bolt on the shift arm all the way out or it wont come off the shaft. (Kick my but for 30min!) Of all the mods I have done so far that has to be one of the top two. The other was getting an EMC Spy cable and software to remap my stock ecm with the race maps. |

ceramic coated header from American Sport Bike? I'm looking into doing this on my new X1...is it worthwhile, will the header tubes still blue after a while or will they maintain their chrome finish? sweet bike |

ceramic coating will never change color, will never stain. but you will never have the same finishing of the polishing/chroming. it's light gray, more like silver color, but it's matt. you can try to polish it every once in a while to keep it as shiny as possible, but for example, this is the best result you gonna get over the Jet Hot coating...

Cool bike. The intake looks great. If you don't mind another nitpick; did you mean to offset the front brake rotors spokes and the wheel spokes? |

Bike looks great but here in the People's Republic of NJ, your plate must be horizontal and on the vertical centerline of the bike or face possible crap while riding. |
