Man no matter how well i scrub this bike up it get's dam dirty fast. Now i have no garage but a cycle shell and it sits outside at work, Any tips or products to keep it dust free or cleaner a little longer. I have a little California dash duster i used to carry in the "big" trunk until i removed it for the cleaner look.

I know this sounds obvious but on my cars (the ones I used to own and care about) I used to use a good wax. The best I ever found was Rain Dance but they don't make that anymore. I liked the ones with teflon in them. I don't know how great they are for the paint but they did seem to keep the dust off. Even if it did get dusty it was slick enough to blow it off once I got moving.

for black wrinkle, S100 engine brightener works wonders. I smeared some wax on the black wrinkle on my FatBoy once, I tried scrubbing with a toothbrush, nothing would work. One spray with engine brightener and the black looked brand new.

I have used S100 cleaner, and it does work, but it's kind of expensive.

Now I just wash it well with regular car wash detergent, then spray armor all on the engine. It blacks it out pretty well, and it also seems to keep new dirt from sticking.

Any foaming tire blackener works pretty well on the black motors.

I suppose if you sprayed it and jumped on and started it up it might for a minute or two but I always wash mine when I know I won't be riding it for a while. Anal, I know, but I always blow it dry with my compressor and lightly spray it down so it's dry before I go out on it.

The armor all doesn't smoke. It's basically silicone in a carrier.

PIG SPIT? That even sounds nasty!

Try Original Bike Spirits spray cleaner and polish, the more you use it the slicker the finish is. And it dosen't haze up like wax. You can get it from any dealer or bike shop who buys from Tucker Rocky.

when my friends and I use to race moto cross we would spray the engine cases with wd40.It made it easier to rinse the mud off after a moto. So i tried it on my black wrinkle finish. it doesn't burn off too quickly, gives it a wet look, and it's easy to rinse off road grime

The PM wheels are a bastrd to polish, I was using eagle one never dull. It works well and on chrome it will remove mild rust. It's just a good metal polish, I even used it on the aluminum and cleans it real good.

How about light scratches on the black wrinkle, I was doing the pushrod base seals and while removing the allen bolts one of my allen socket's for my mini ratchet shattered and i scratched the black a little

I used to use Eagle one until Mothers came out with their billet polish . It takes less effort and knuckle bleeding to get out those pesky water stains and then when they came out with polishing ball I was in heaven. It now only takes about an hour instead of three to get the mirror finish. Anything aluminum get the treatment, cases, dash plate, levers etc. For paint I use the HD spray and polish. It does a decent job repelling dust since for the first eight years she sat outside under cover. I haven't "washed" my bike in a couple of years since you spray this on and it takes bugs and grime off and leaves a wet shine. Great stuff but it doesn't work for XB plastic,it just smears and I have to use Meguiars detail spray for that stuff.

the mothers powerball along with mothers mag aluminum polish made shining my pm wheels a snap! i had bad water marks on the front wheel, i had them both done in an hour (off the bike) and they both are 100% polished in every nook and cranny

Pig spit works great, but it's $10 a can, and I'm a cheap bastard.
