You may want to check out the ECMSpy program to adjust your fuel injection. |

FI2000 is a joke. It adds fuel, but isn't smart enough to add it at the right time, load, etc. Once it's set for a given temp, RPM, TP setting, it will ONLY be accurate at those values again, and the further any one of those three values gets from where FI2000 was set, the more "off" it is. In the '80's, when something was "2000" it was futuristic. It's now 2008. That should tell you something about Fi2000. |

"ecm spy looks vary complicated like you could really mess up stuff this is plug and play and if it does not work at least you can un plug it and go " This is true, however, and worth considering. ECM spy cable: $30 The rest of ECMSPY: $zero Certainly cheaper than FI2000, and you can go "home" with ECMSPY. Just save your stock maps first. |

""beachbuell have you had a bad luck with the fi2000?"" I've un-installed more than I care to remember. That module tricks your computer and does not jive well with the HD electrical components/system. It usually does more harm than good. I've seen them take out the ECM's that they piggyback off of. Talk about throwing $$ out the window. Now you are buying the correct tuning system AND a new ECM! (Message edited by beachbuell on May 20, 2008) |
