I think I find the fact that Republican senators like McConnell and Graham are jumping on the bandwagon on this the most disturbing aspect. |

Republican In Name Only Too damned common. Greedy lying bastards, the lot. There should be no such thing as a career politician. |

Anyone that is part of the establishment, Rs or Ds, has to see Trump a threat to their moneytrain. Make no mistake about it, any honeymoon between Trump and the Republican Congress will be short lived. At least on the Senate side with all of those career politicians. There will be some House members that will be staunchly in Trump's corner. |

I haven't tried to do a deep dive into the intelligence briefing of electors, but it smells like a publicity stunt. If it is the democratic electors asking for an update, and they are already committed to vote democrat anyway already, this is just PR theater and maybe some phishing for information they can leak for some other benefit. |

According to what I have heard and seen, Nancy Pelosi's daughter is the one calling for the intelligence briefing. Big surprise. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/dec/12/na ncy-pelosis-daughter-leads-electors-demanding-in/ (Message edited by macbuell on December 13, 2016) |

The Democrat Party has become a toothless old dog that can do nothing but howl at the moon and pee on your leg. Quite frankly, I am getting tired off their whining. |

Tired? sick and. But Toothless? No. Most of the Urban areas are D. They hold a lot of power. Barry the Weasel is still in office. Weeks for he & his to finish creating the Crisis that will "temporarily" delay the transfer of power. Barry has imported hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. Thousands of refugees from Barry's Wars. How many ISIS cells are active in your town, today? How many "refugees" were AQ members Obama gave weapons to? Terrorists with connections at the highest levels of Black Ops run by the White House. Think of the most paranoid ravings about Bush & 9/11. Now consider that Obama has actually sought out, armed, supported, imported, and no doubt is in deniable contact with murderous Jihadi in our country. And the ONLY part that isn't factual public record is the deniable contact & control. Toothless? Oh, no. A wounded animal is most dangerous. |

What really pisses me off about this is the Dems are not even denying the content of the leaked material. It's like a cheating spouse blaming the PI that uncovered the cheating for his divorce. Dude, it was your own behavior that ended the marriage, not the PI. The desire for an "investigation" into Russia's "tampering" with our election, as far as I'm concerned, and admission that the information that was released, was in fact valid, and factual. I wonder how they KNOW it was the Russians? |

The Russians are not that stupid. Most likely, the hacker made it look like a Russian "fingerprint". Russians would have wiped their fingerprints. Could be the Chinese, Wikileaks, Iran, North Korea,....or Obama. Taking my tin foil hat off. |

When Comey testified about Hillary's server, he said that the Ruskies could have gotten into it and not left fingerprints, so you can keep your hat on. (In a good way, of course.) |

"The Millennials have never known a world where politics didn't behave like a perfect vending machine. They pushed all the right buttons and dropped their change in, and they had no reason to believe that Hillary Clinton dipped in white chocolate wouldn't fall down the chute and appear through the trapdoor. " http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/12/tr umphaters_and_chocolatecovered_raisins.html Some good insights. |

Funny thing, but the recounts that failed to happen in MI has stirred up something. MI has an odd law, where if a voting precinct has unexplained irregularities, they don't do a recount and go with the original count. It turned out that a high percentage of precincts in the Detroit area were not going to be eligible to do a recount, because they had more votes than voters. OOPS! Perhaps that should be investigated. Check in Chicago too! |

So they had Arnold S on the Today show, ostensibly to talk about his new role on Celebrity Apprentice. Guess what, it was all about Trump. Lauer: "you were quoted as saying that for the first time since you became a citizen, you couldn't vote republican. How do you feel now?" Arnold's answer was the BEST. "I will support him. He is my president now and we all need to come together and back him whether we voted for him or not. WE NEED TO QUIT WHINING (my emphasis) and stand behind the president of the United States". We'll see how the MSM spins THAT one, but I give him props for being honest and calling for unity, especially as someone who didn't vote for him in the first place. |

Apparently Trump has announced that these questions were not authorized, but they are pretty good anyway. I hope Perry uses them as a guidebook. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2016/12/10/the-doe-vs- ugly-reality/ |

I can't wait for Trump to start overhauling the departments. Never in my 20+ professional years in private enterprise have I heard of organizations that automatically build in 6% cost increases every year and then try to spin it as a cost reduction if they only grow by 5%. Government math just does not work |

Hopefully for most of you, he makes arrangements at some point, to pay back the 2.7 trillion they've been stealing out of SS retirement benefits. |

A common misconception. No money has been stolen from anywhere. There is not, and has never been, a SS trust fund. SS comes out of the general fund. When it was implemented, it was supposed to keep old folks from eating out of garbage cans, and the average life expectancy was 65. It was not a significant amount of money, and there weren't a whole lot of people drawing benefits. But, as usual, government is shortsighted, and does nothing well, so we have the situation we have now. |

Hootowl, I stand corrected, it was the taxation of SS that screwed it up, still I thank G-d that I don't have to depend on it. Had a liberal bet me $100 that Trump would never win, I took the bet straight up, just collected today, with a big smile on my face ! |

Nice. I, on the other hand, owe a friend the bottle of her choice, for betting that Trump would never even get the nomination. She's probably going to be especially vicious since he ended up winning the presidency. The upside is that I get to drink it with her. |

In the beginning I think I would've been bet against him also, but it didn't take long for me to realize, he was the best choice, now we'll see. He's shaken them up already and he's not even in office yet, gotta love it. Enjoy the drink ! |

I don't imagine Trump will start a war. He'll say something that is already common knowledge, but all the career politicians have been to afraid to say (something like, Taiwan has their own constitution, president, currency, etc). And that will hurt the feelings of some totalitarian regime leader, who will respond with violence against innocent common folk (as is typical the further left you go). And it will be "all Trump's fault" that there hasn't been One China since 1949. |

That was my point. They do it every few years. The make believe that Reps are going to do it, freak out, and then forgot they made it up. Just like they're making shit up about Trump, and then freaking out about it. |
