I was riding to work the other day and was traveling at about 40 mph in 3rd gear at 3000 rpm. All of the sudden the exhaust tone changed and the engine sound changed. I pulled over and looked around . I could not find anything and it seemed to run fine but just had a different sound. Later that day I found some oil on the cylinder just above the exhaust port. I went to ride it home and felt a little air pressure on my right leg, however it pulsated with the engine. I am guessing one of the gaskets failed but I am curious about, why would it have air pressure. I have ordered the gasket kit and will be taking the engine apart to hopefully fix it. Does anyone have any ideas that I need to be aware of before I tackle this?
