Awesome catch with Erik B. reppin the 3%ers Fran.
That is really cool.

I love the new bike.
I think they nailed it.

I am disappointed we will have to wait for the dirt bike.
But then again, at least I don't have to worry about fitting another bike into the budget this year.
I would love to convince myself I need the 1125R but...A man's got to know his limitations.

So my big brother calls me yesterday and tells me to meet him at SMHD...He's wanting me to ride his new XB9SX home!!!! He got him a buell. It's a 9 but he changed the wheels for the red ones and has the clear red plastic off the 12! I'm so excited for him! Now I have a good reason to still hang out with you Hooligans! I just wish he coulda told me earlier that he wanted a bike....I woulda cold him my old XB and keep it in the family! And why the hell are they bringing out this 1125r now! I really would have considered this bike if it was 2 months ago. I'm excited about this machine....they outta kick some @ss in AMA now.

Speaking of which, I think the sear is worn on my AK-47. Last time I took it out, it kept firing two round bursts on single trigger pulls. I wonder how long it will take to wear itself down to full auto? Sweet.

Hey, guys. Got back from the dealer meeting a few days ago and had some pictures of the 2008 Buell 1125R I wanted to share with you.

I attended the technical forum they had, which featured the design team from Buell explaining some of the new and innovative technology they used to develop the 1125R.

After that, they held a Q&A session. The 1125R had gas mileage in the mid thirties when ridden aggressively on the track, and will possibly get upper forties or even 50 mpg when ridden smoothly around town. No official numbers yet, though.

Someone asked if they would be offering a full fairing kit, but Buell was unable to confirm plans for any accessories in the near future. However, they did mention that the engine cases do have tapped bolt holes without anything in them, so custom built fairings may have mounting points available. Lots of really cool, innovative features on this bike.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass along some of the pictures that I got while checking out the booth at the Dealer Expo.
