 Funeral Services for Steve McGoveran (Roadrunr) will be Thursday August 5, 2010, at Klein Memorial Park, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia TX 77354. Viewing is from 1 to 3 PM, services at 3 PM. Steve took his own life on Saturday morning. He leaves his wife, Shannon and two children. Shannon tells me that after the service, guests are welcome at their home. Charity Ride coming up on April 16th. Starts in Cleveland, TX and ends in BayCliff, TX. Before your flame me  , I know, "Doing a cruise ain't worth nuthin". Great lyrics. Anyway, the wife and I will be there on my Reactor Yellow M2 Cyclone and I'd like to see other Buells there too. There was one very nice Uly from Louisiana last year but I'd like to see more Buells this time. Catfish dinner at the end of the ride. Very well organized. Great Charity. Guys, I hate to do this, but I can't make the meet-up today. I feel bad about it, since I suggested the whole thing in the first place, but a conflict has developed and I don't really have a choice. I recommend the brisket and the ribs at Dozier's. As an alternative place to eat in Fulshear, the Double Horn on 1093 had a pretty good burger. I think they've re-opened after their recent remodeling. Everett, the owner, is a rider and a good guy. rt | ||

Philip, I enjoyed meeting you too. I had a good ride home. I covered 160 miles today and you couldn't have asked for better weather. We'll try to do this again and get some more Badweb'ers involved.
