Ha, now that I think about it, the first post does kinda sound like placed advertising for T-Rex!! He only has like 15 posts, many of them in this post. Oh well, thanks, it was good advertising! I'll be getting a set. Ha!

i have a set of them also. i really like them. they are well made. but i can't get the front triple tree stand to work on my xb12scg. it will not fit between the front fender and the bottom of the lower triple. i haven't tried to take the front fender off first. but that would be a pain in the a$$ to have to take the front fender of every time you want to lift the bike.

Try putting the pin in the triple tee first, then hook the stand on or use the next smallest pin so you have more wiggle room.

HAHA, nope im not working under T-Rex, but i am hoping i'll get a free shirt :-)
(Tom, size large, you know the address, haha)

Basically im kinda picky about my Buell (which i just got about 2 months ago)

and i had been in the market since i bought it for some stands
(my last bike had a center stand)

After doing lots of research and concluding i did not want to spend a ton of money i took the chance on T-Rex. after getting them and using them, i though it was crazy why any one would pay so much for another brand (Pitbull!)

plus i felt like a kid on christmas morning, i had to tell someone! so you guys and gals got to hear about it! i had no intentions of sounding like a sales rep. but honestly, im glad this company is getting the sales. I feel they deserve it fully! great service, awesome product, best price in the world!

Trust me, if i thought it were shit, i would have posted just that!

That's good to know. It really stinks, but I guess it's not a big deal since you can just hold the front of the bike up by the bottom of the forks unless you want to service the forks in which case taking the fender off wouldn't be such a big deal.

Based on your write-up and those of others that I subsequently looked up on the web, I ordered a set of T-Rex stands (front + triple tree + rear) in the gold finish. I didn't want to pay more for chrome and I don't like powder-coat on something that's likely to get scratched and then rust under the powder coat. $145 delivered is a sweet deal.

Thanks. Good luck on that size L T-shirt. : )

Does the front triple tree stand work with the firebolt?

Emailed the seller of T-Rex stands (via the ebay email system) as to where exactly the stands are made.

Hmmmm.... no answer yet. But it has only been 5 days or so.

Maybe they are made in Texas?

Hey Rah77* (or anybody with these stands), could you post some higher-res pictures of the joint in the front stand, the place where the top section meets the bottom section. That is the only part of the assembly that gives me cause for concern, mostly because I can't visualize how it works.

sorry, this is the best i can do. my camera batteries are about dead, so the pics come out alittle crappy.

basically you have your front fork support (two rubber pieces) then the triple tree piece slides in between them and you pin it in. on the ground it swivels forward and rearward, but once you get the pin in the triple tree bottom, it lifts right up. and yes its sturdy. the pin fits snug so it doesnt move on you. and the wheel does not want to turn. i couldnt grasp the concept when i first took it out of the package, until i used it.

So that ability of the top portion to rotate forward and back doesn't make it unstable? Would you recommend chocking (put a rock under them so they can't roll) the wheels on the stand?

stability is not an issue. and no i wouldnt "chock" the wheels, there is no need to.
i will admit it takes some ass to get it in the air, but it sits just fine. like i said before i got on it and bounced up and down, no probs. if i knew how i'd post a video.
