Just saw these lovely looking mirrors at Trojan's site: http://www.britnett-carver.co.uk/trojanhorse/prods /213.html

Do any of our American-based sponsors carry Matt's line? Thanks to our TSA and DHS I've been having problems ordering stuff from overseas so I'd rather get them from an American-based vendor who's already gone through the pain...

PJ is a good guy too. Talked to him for a while trying to pick out a set of mirrors for my bike. He sat there on the phone measuring each mirror for me so I could get an idea of how they would look. Tried to get me to buy a cheaper set then the one I was looking at cause they were a closer length to what the stock ones are. I ended up buying the expensive ones.

I've got those mirrors on my Sportster. Mounted on the Rizoma Bar ends, under the handlebars. I'm very happy with them. I got them from PJ's. He had them in stock, Trojan had them back-ordered at the time

I'm afraid I've been hit by a giant bolt of common sense. I never realize how expensive those things are when I look at them on Trojan's site. I have to remember to DOUBLE the amount to get a rough idea of what that comes to in dollars.

Anyway, I've wimped out and ordered a set of plain black Napoleon bar end mirrors. Price for the two of them plus shipping is LESS than just ONE of those Rizoma mirrors alone. :\

Rizoma stuff is expensive and PJ's site said the stuff is going to get even more expensive soon. Thank the weak US dollar for that. Buy American and help the economy and the dollar out. Remember back in the day when the US dollar was power?

Anyway, the Rizoma stuff looks to be top quality though unlike the eBay chinese CRAP!

The Rizoma is GORGEOUS, but even with PJ's prices I can get a pair of Napoleons plus shipping for less than just one Rizoma. Its hard to justify the extra cost, even to me.

Now... if the Rizomas were made of Carbon, then maybe... ; )

Jaimec - I've got the Napoleons on my Ss. They work well and look OK. You can see past your arms and the vibration doesn't blur them at most speeds. The cheap expanding rubber bar end mounts are terrible and just don't cut it - especially on the throttle side. I ended up making some aluminum tapered wedge mounts similar to what Acerbis uses on their off road hand guards.

Ah, thanks for the "Heads Up!" I guess we'll see what we see when they come in...
