And don't say, "All of 'em!" We all know that ain't happening. I'm trying to get my dealership to have all regular wear/maintenance parts as well as common replacement parts in case of a "tipover". We have quite a bit already and I have some ideas, but I wanted to get outside input (inside output?) from y'all. This is a sincere effort, so please give sincere answers (boy, I'm asking for it now ), with part numbers if you got 'em. Court had earlier posted something about a list for the dealers that used to exist for the tube frames. I wonder if it is still around or if there is anything like it for the XBs. Thanks in advance, HBJ Jay Howze Central Texas H-D/Buell Austin, Texas |

Absolutely tip-over goodies that can break -include all controls and turn signals. Windscreens. I'd recommend hanging a double bubble and sport touring screen in their wall. Brake pads - an assortment - EBC HH, Ferodo, Nissin A CHOICE of oil - a true synthetic like Redline Aftermarket stuff gets iffier and depends on the size of your audience. Belts |

"tip over" parts is more than just a nifty saying as well . . . there is a science, yeah . . . basically kicking the bike over,. . to making that list. For dealers with a smaller audience, who truly are concerned about their customers, yet lack the numbers to warrant the inventory, I'd develop a strategic alliance. For instance, perhaps Liberty and Edison (just miles apart) could develop a list in cooperation. . "I'll keep a spare front tire, you keep a rear". Excellence is possible. |

Court, anyway I can get a set of ULY back pannier supports WITHOUT buying the bags? That is the part I wish our store carried. Seems there really isnt a smart hard luggage pannier option for the CityX |

Cityxslicker, P/Ns are: 90085-05Y Bracket, Left-Hand $125.95 90089-05Y Bracket, Right-Hand $49.95 90090-05Y Bracket, X-Brace $65.95 Don't ask me why the left side is so much more expensive; I call SPOC and asked them and they said it just was. You can do a kit breakdown on H-DNet for P/N 90057-05Y and look at the instruction sheet for the other parts. I don't know that these would fit on a CityX, though. It looks to me like they are Ulysses-specific. Hope this helps. HellBuelly J J.M. Howze Central Texas H-D/Buell Austin, Texas 512-973-8521 x120 |

Clutch levers for sure!! I agree with the list above. I was shocked the last time I went to get parts at my local dealer. He had 8 out of 9 parts I needed for the M2. To be fair though, the old tubers had more interchangeable parts with other HD products. |
