Sheesh! I ordered a set of Mapam Aggressive mirrors late last year/early this year, waited and waited, and they never came in. The dealer told me they were having to wait until they got enough orders to justify importing them from Europe. Okay, whatever, I'm going elsewhere. I cancel my order and find some Highway Hawk Tech Glides that I like. Ordered them, waited 5 weeks, and finally had to yank THIS dealers chain to find out what's up. Oops! They're discontinued, and we just now bothered to look!

What's a guy gotta' do to get some aftermarket mirrors in a timely matter 'round here?!

And why do ALL the mirrors seem to come from Europe? Did Americans forget how to run a lathe?

Cliff,

I see that you have an "S" model. I went through this crap and finally getting a set of European mirrors, one of them broke the first time I bumped it walking past.

I then purchased a set of Aprilla Tuono mirrors and love 'em. They are very well made, don't vibrate, and I can actually see the cars that I am leaving behind.

This photo is not very good but it is all that I have with me. If you want, I can take some better photos.

Those do look pretty good, even in that pic. How'd you come across the Tuono idea?

Does anyone have an online source for the Priller mirrors? There's no dealer in my area.

Dick - Here is what I hope is a better photo of my handlebars and mirrors.

Towjam - The bags are Chase Harper from American Sport Bike. When combined with a Ventura Rack, they work quite nicely.

Were the mirrors straight bolt on or did you have to use some sort of adapter? Man, they look good. And if I can actually see whats behind me, that's an added bonus.

Ohhh oooh ooohhhh ME LIKEY!

They really don't vibrate as much as the stock mirrors??

I might have to try these this Summer. I like the looks of bar end mirrors but not their position. I prefer function over looks and These Tuono mirrors look nice and functional.

Those saddle bags are pretty cool too. They may be just the thing to let me keep the sport pack on year round instead of lugging the 35 bag around : )
Now I'll have to go check out Al's site again.

Hey Skully,
I couldn't help notice your forks in that first pic.
You need to get some fork axle sliders! joker

LOL! Hey Tom!

I had to laugh. The fork sliders went on the next day whilst prepping the bike for the CMRA's season opener at Oak Hill Raceway.

the mirrors look pretty good and if they don't vibrate that much all the more reason to switch out.

Skully, I notice you put those Tuono mirrors on set of aftermarket aluminum bars. I've heard before that just swapping to aluminum bars really reduces vibration... any chance that you've tried these on the stock hand-numbing stainless bars? I'd hate to blow $90 for no good reason.

Anyone got a site that you can buy those mirrors from? Also, are they bolt on or is there something else I'll need to get them on with?

I used two (L & R) `06/`07 Tuono mirrors, two Tuono rubber boots, and two Tuono mirror nuts as pictured in the top half of the picture below.

As mentioned several posts up, the source is: http://www.af1racing.com/

Cliff - No, I had the Crossroads before I tried the Tuono mirrors.

Tom (Warbaby)is actually where I got the idea to use the Tuono mirrors. He has them on the Uly's stock bars.

When you take the pic, can you hold the stock mirror in the stock location so we can see the relative positioning.
