Low side on the way to work this morning. The off ramp i take fromt he highway is pretty tight, and is a lot of fun when dry. it was raining this morning south of the ramp, and the pavement looked dry, so I still took it slower than usual, apparently not slow enough. Even on other rainy days, going slow on this ramp still feels unstable. But anyway, ways only going about 35. I didn't sustain any injuries, right knee is a little sore now though. The only thing that broke off was the front brake lever. There is a number of other parts that are rashed but nothing that needs immediate replacement.

So the questions is, does anyone have an old brack lever kicking around. New one is $45, and I am very tight on funds at the moment. Hopefully soemone out there that has changed over to CRGs still has there old levers. Thanks in advance.

Wow. I think I bought mine (from Daves) for less than $20 (I don't think I have the bill anymore, but I'm sure it was a lot less than $45).

I think it's the same lever as used on a lot of Japanese sportbikes that have Nissin brakes, like the GSX-Rs. You might want to check into that, too.

yeah, the old part number was $20. Apparently the NEW part number is $45. I thought about using a lever froma jap model but there are concerns about EXACT fitment. Very knowledgable persons on this board have pointed out the issue of possible bind at the cylinder, not something I want to risk. Thanks for the thought though

Gearhead - I just replaced mine with the new black lever set. I was planning on putting the adjustable lever from the 'bolt on my Blast, but if it'd help you out I'll send it your way instead. PM me shipping information.
