First Bike: 2003 Buell XB9R
4 years, 1 month, and 8 days
42,250 Miles
10 sets of tires
Deal’s Gap, Chereholla Skyway, Beartooth Pass, Arkansas Hwys 123,7,23, and 341
6 track days

Getting your knee down at the track for the first time . . . priceless

As my friend Shannon said, “there’s no living with him now.”

Thank you to the folks at SportbikeTrackTime.com for putting on a great event at Heartland Park. Bart, Chris and Ron did a great job and provided terrific instruction. Can’t wait to do it again.

Shaun, there are a lot of people that go a lot further than you would have to go to get to Loudon. If you're serious about giving a track day a go (everyone should at least once) look into it.

loudon is really pretty close to st albans. i went there from norwich, VT which is in your vicinity : )

you should try it! i took penguin racing school there, i'm sure there's got to be other trackday organizations that run days out there.

KC - congrats its a great feeling to get your knee down, eh? (oh dear, i'm starting to sound like a wisconsinite, or a canadian.........!)

good job, but as mentioned on another thread here, knee draggin' shouldnt be a singular focus. getting faster and smoother is the objective!
