It says the 12S is lighter and more power than other bikes in its class, blah, blah, blah.

Some people will say anything to get you to overpay for it.

ever notice the disclaimers on car ads?

they all claim most powerful in their class. The legal says something like mid size sedans weighing between x and y pounds.

Who goes to a dealership and says "I'm looking for something between 2600 and 2750 pounds"?

That doesn't matter, It's all marketing.
They have found a way to eliminate the competition from comparison.

What other bikes are in the xb12s's class? Air cooled 45deg v-twin street fighter? I bet you can guess.
