I'll be headed your way with a Drummer and Stock header and hopefully a direct link package some time in the not TOO distant future Terry. I'll have it all installed so when I get there we just need to throw it on the dyno and get to work.

Whaddya charge for a tune?

Hi Kevin, hope still to be in your waiting list!
Anyway,I wish tell something.
When I bought my xb12 I loved to think it all the way pumped up but, after talked with Kevin,I realized how much it would cost me in money and time for never being sure of the final result. And,the worse is that not many people really knows what to do for reaching the goal.Maybe some more dirty hp.But,what about reliability? So maybe Kevin is right, open up air filter, race ecm,SS and go.This is the best way to approach the thing if you mainly enjoy your Buell in the street.

Donald you get it here and I will run it and we don't charge to learn and we can talk if you think it need to be tuned. ... Kevin the "pill" was not about the drummer, it was about several post here on BW where someone thinks that one solution fit all. Again I am sure you system does as you say and I agree it takes hard work with lots of testing to get where you are at. I wish you only the best in you endeavors. ... Terry

IMO there's no point in changing anything on a bike if you don't plan to tune it : ).

We'll have to talk prior to me getting there though, it's a fairly long trip with a one night stay in a hotel (or maybe Al's place if I sweet talk him: )) so my ducks will have to be in a row.

Kevin, how come Tilleys doesn`t run your pipe on his bikes if you all tested it and it works so good?

Tilley's don't have a race program any more because Don had an accident and was not able to continue the program....the pipe and header are on the bike but no plans to race as of yet...they are concentrating on the V-Rod series of drag racing instead of the Buell roadracing...I also do all the paintwork on the race bikes , and they haven't called to get anything done on them....I have an article in a magazine coming in the spring so that will be fun....

I bet they would have saved alot of money with just using a stock header and slip on muffler.

Yeh I guess you're right...I'll keep making the slip-ons and leave the systems to the pros...

Considering I've seen or riden against most of the Buells line of systems and slip-ons I would have to say that everything else is a "professional" waste of money. But that is just me I prefer the walk not the 5hit talk. My Drummer kicks a55!!!!
