I found these this weekend. If anyone is doing conversions or repairs this is a good chance to pick up some stuff. There is one that is being completely parted out and the other is just the skins I think.

what do you think about the damage to the frame? if repairable it would be pretty cool to take and modify for additonal fuel capacity in the frame snorkle cavity.

If your skilled anything is possible. I personally would not have any problem trying to fix it.

that frame would not take very long to fix right. thats about as ideal of a place to damage a frame as any. an easy afternoon fix. and fairly cheap fix at that

That is a safe place to get welding done. It's part of the casting and so you're really not going to have too much trouble.

Find a certified (or a dang good) welder in aluminum and you're good to go.

Whatever you do, don't ask how much it would cost to by outright.

my friends honda CRF250 and my wife's ducati M620
each came from the factory with an oil level sight glass, which is a pretty cool innovation.
i dont want to just "start drilling" my swingarm, but having a spare 20 dollar piece from an ebay auction to play with would be cool.
