Looks like the deal will be done by Sat. What do you guys think of a new XB12R with the race kit installed for $9900. Could I have done better. I found cheaper deals but with the travel or shipping expense it came pretty close. I've read a ton of old threads on the race kit, but I'll ask anyways: Is the race kit worth it?

I like the Race Kit.
For what you're getting the bike plus the Race Kit, I don't think you could have done much better.
Congrats!

YA, it's an '05. Is there any difference between the '05 & '06? I could tell from the website or the things I have read.

06 has a slightly bigger gas tank.
06 also has a new swingarm which is stiffer and about .5 lbs lighter.
06 also has a new tranny.

Well, MNsotin I just don't think I could buy from a Sconi...well the packs having abad year so maybe...
Truth be told, I don't like used bikes. Motorcycles are scary things and I want to have my baby from birth so I know exactly what I'm dealing with. If you have an unused bike I still have time to deal, but not much. I have been wanting to get back to the North Land anyways...

I don't have any new XB12R bikes left!

I have a new 06 Black one coming in January that is available.
