Performance Mods!: | |
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | Had a 2003 XB9R which was purchased in 2005 with 1400 miles. Traded it in on the 2007 Tiger in March 2007 Purchased 2007 XB9R 12/8/07 with - 1,107 miles. Bike came from Carolina Coast HD, Wilmington, NC through a second party. No problems to date |
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: | Tail bag, Frame Pucks, Sato Axle sliders, Buell touring seat, "S" model pegs, Double Bubble windscreen |
Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): | Anything tight and twisty like Hwy 28 on the way to Deals Gap, Hwy 276, 217,80, BRPKWY, etc, plus 200 miles of some great back roads between Chester and Peak, SC for my normal Sat ride. |
Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | Engineering uniqueness, V Twin torque, American made, love the look. Great in the twisties. This bike has character and soul |
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Get them out of HD, get them with Dealers with passion for this great bike. There are some HD Dealers that fit this passion criteria, and it shows, but so many are just into the cruiser thing and really care nothing for the Buell. Many of these have stopped carrying Buells, which is good, but now true good Buell dealers are sparse |
Life History/Philosophy: | "The LORD is my Shepherd,..." Ps 23:1 |
Top speed on 2 wheels (mph): | 155 on R1 / 125+ on the XB9R |
Preferred engine oil (brand/grade): | Syn 3 20W50 and Formula+ |
