In search of the ultimate muffler I have found out by reading some forums here and elswere on the nett that the three best, or the three most known muffs must be the D&D, Drummer and Jardine for the XB models. It's easy to read dynos and say 'this muffler work that way compared to the other' But nothing can be compared to personal experience, Am I'm not right? Thats why i kick this ball to you guys, who have this experience so we can find out what is the ultimate muffler for my XB12?

D&D, no experience with other pipes on this bike. Lots of people here run the drummer. Remember, you need to check with the 3% ers that ride Buell, we dont care how they do it over there

I also suggest you call Kevin Drum at KDFab (828-324-9991) and tell him what you are after in regards to your bikes performance. Kevin can modify his exhausts to suit your riding stle, mods and volume preference and he is a cool hillbilly. I pre-ordered one of the first batch of his new SS models for my 04 XB12s and I can't wait to get it!

$595 with no muffler exchange. Check out the KDFab website, it was just updated to include the SS and the econo-Drummer.
