And it was mine! I took a ride down to South Beach in Miami Saturday night. What an awesome time, rode with some cool people. We had over 100 bikes at one point. One Ducati, one Buell and loads of Gixxers and Ninjas. Alot of people were checking out my ride, asking questions and giving compliments. We hit Coconut Grove, then up to FT. Lauderdale. Got home about 2 am, after a long night of riding. Had the XB12R up to about 125 mph so far, I like messing with the imports. Guys were pulling wheelies at 110 and the such. I'll be there again this weekend I think.

Sounds a lot like what I run into. I ride with all R1's, R6's, gxsrs, and ninjas. I'm the only Buell and get the most attention every where we go (except on the highway when my buddy is doing 120mph+ wheelies on his R1).

Hey man, where in R.I. are you? I used to live up there years ago. Used to hang out downtown Providence and Newport also.

While you're in Florida take advantage of the available tracks. Jennings, Moroso, Homestead, those are the only curves to be found in that right-angle infested sauna. I just moved Ft. Lauderdale area and the Lightning deserves the mountain curves I give it every day. NUTS

Woah, blast from the past... isn't Moroso the track out the Beeline Highway? Past Royal Palm? I used to practice for hare scramble races years ago in the H U G E empty area across the highway from there. Acres and acres of nothing but sweet trails. Man, I miss it.

Type1, There are NO legal trails in Florida anymore that don't cost $. You've got Croom in Brooksville and parts of the Ocala Natl Forest.
Cataract2~ I bought my bike in Oct 2004 and put 1600 miles on it until mid April when I moved to the land that knows what leaned over is. Now over 5500 miles including 2 weeks when I was on vacation and the bike hid in the basement. If you're looking for a few turns, and I do mean FEW; take I-75 N from Dade county to Griffin Rd West. Go right at first light onto Weston road. Then right onto South post road, when you get to the roundabout veer right. That is called shotgun road, the few turns begin with a left, that turns into Orange drive. I'd run that first time through around 50 to make sure there's no Town of Davie PO waiting at the other end! That and a few exit ramps is all I ever found, and I;m a 28 year NATIVE. NUTS

Buellin - I think it was on Brook St, I think that is East Providence. I may be wrong. It was a breakfast institution. The owner has since past away, but his son is carrying the torch. I remember that place fondly. I had some good times in P-town.
