I need to get either the tank bag or the saddlebags. The saddlebags look pretty sharp to me, but I want to make sure they are easy to take off for when you want to ride around just looking sharp How easy are they to take off? What is left visible when they are detached from an R?

The only visible part when they are removed is a brace that attaches to the undertail, and that is only held on by two screws.

Have a set for my XB12R and they are the best. takes about 1 min to put on or remove. and the bracket does not look out of place when the bags are removed

Thanks for the info, it sounds like the saddlebags are the ticket.

I have the Buell saddlebags and one part I don't like about the design is that the 2 bags are held together with VERY small strips of velcro.

No problem with them yet, but I'd prefer they used belt buckle straps. I'm always afraid they're going to come loose and fall off when I'm riding.
