you will need to get it dyno tuned.
and you will also need the hipo O2 sensor
you can get that on e-bay.

Can't you just get a rough map downloaded from the web and run it like you can on Suzuki's and the PCII?

'Pup, sure will. The only thing you will need to do is lengthen the black wire going to the battery. The layout was a little different for the tubers so the wire was shorter. Took 10 minutes to install and about 45 for the O2 sensor. I have been running one for about 2 months now and love it. I installed the 4-wire O2 sensor also. I just richened it up a notch across the board until I have time to load a map or two that I have here. Runs great and no stumble at all. Hope to get a map loaded next week if time permits. Odie

Odie,

Which XB do you have the PCIII on? I have a XB9S with a Swiss-cheesed air box, a race ECM, and a D&D muffler. I'm not having quite the luck you are with the map.

I was informed by a DynoJet techie that the PCIII unit itself for S1 and X1 is the same, but the connectors are different - ones for S1 do not have the right connectors for XB, but ones for X1 do. Can someone confirm this?

So sorry, meant S3 not S1

Dcmortalcoil- I'm still searching for the S1 info but the one I'm running is for a 99-00 S3. Everything works perfect except I had to lengthen the black wire that goes to the battery by about 10". Very happy with it.
