This loom also gives the option to run the sequential shift light as well as the DG8 gear indicator. I believe it reads speedo and tach to figure what gear. Check the web site and ask them questions. I like it too, and I'm sure there are quirks along with it. I'm sure under normal driving it is quite accurate. They work great unless you are in neutral.
