FJR also-cool. If I could afford it, one would sit next to the XB so the wife could ride with me when she wanted too.
What does the scores mean?
56 moxie, 44 zeal, & 62pomp???

You have the characteristics of a master street rider. On the way to work, your love for riding sometimes leads you to take the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. You live for the perfect road, and plan vacations around riding.
You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as comfortably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Your bike is the FJR1300. Can I borrow it someday?

Interesting, 'cause I put most of my miles on my BMW R1100RT...

I was told I was a 883 Sporty guy.
Ouch... that hurts:-)
Kinda dopey too, as I check off the " no Harley" box.
They did get closer on my second choice : Buell XB12R.
I guess you can't fault then for not realizing that I am clearly a streetfighting "Lightning " kind of stud muffin, and I need that high revving Nine.
But hey, no one is perfect.
Well almost no one:-)

Suzuki Vstrom. Score: Moxie 0, zeal 5, pomp -5 and 0,0,0.
and You have the traits of a sensible and effective rider, with an utter lack of concern for image, so you should feel comfortable riding a sensible, effective, and hideous bike like the VStrom.
You are the rider most likely to Rhino-Coat your bike for the sake of practicality.

Not such a bad advise: I LIKE that powerfull 90 degrees V-twin engine.
I don`t understand that Rhino-coating remark: Why coating when the bike is already painted to prevent rust?

Yamaha YZF R1
You scored 7 moxie, 9 zeal, and -2 pomp!

Funny thing is I was looking at both when I bought the S3, and almost bought the R1 instead. The difference, I cashed the Buell out and would've had to make payments on the R1. I'm glad I passed on the yammy now.

i got told any 600, coz i'm a squid & will crash it anyway .. not as good a rider as i think (ouch!) & i shd get to the track so i can do it safely ..

so they have been watching me, eh?! ; )

then i changed a few borderline answers - because i have a borderline personality, it seemed fair - & was told i am a master rider & the fjr1300 is the bike for me!?!

i think its a crock .. i wanted the r1, at least!!

i guess, at least it wasn't a sporty 883 - not that i wldn't ride one, they are ok. : )

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 24% on moxie

You scored higher than 60% on zeal

You scored higher than 64% on pomp

'K - now what? I still like my 12S better.

It told me that I'm a motorcycling god and I should ride an R1 or GSXR100 ("it was close"; ) - I answered honestly too! I'm a 53 year old failed racer (25 years ago)....even an 883 would be too wild for me.....mind you I did three other similar tests and they all said I was an alcaholic.....!!!!

You should be on a Cushman Eagle...outdated, overweight, slow, cannot get it up...not that you want to, and not at all sexy. Quickly move on to another website...thanks for your participation.

fjr1300, thats so funny, I've been thinking about how cool it would be to have a sport tourer and go on some long rides! sorry, but the xb is not highway friendly or two up friendly either.

Harley 883 Sportster
-2 moxie, 2 zeal, and -1 pomp!
"You scored dead center average, lacking any of the personality quirks that normally drive people to motorcycling."

I'm okay with that, I am mature and that is reflected. My first bike was a '58 Triumph Thunderbird (in 1962) and I was obsessed with the look and mechanics of the machine and the basic joy of riding it.

Am I old? Not enough that it bothers me. I got my first Social Security check this year, my two sons envy me for having seven Saturdays every week, life is good!

Aprilia RSV Mille
You scored 11 moxie, 1 zeal, and 6 pomp!
You're a fast and competent rider, but maybe not quite as good as you think you are. You've spent some big bucks on a sexy Aprilia, now go buy a beat-up Kawasaki EX500 as a track bike and get in some practice before you kill yourself.

Seriously. The Mille's power scares the crap out of you at times, and you mostly bought it because you wanted something more unusual than a Ducati. Its not comfortable, you're not having fun, and you're riding less than you did on your old bike. If you're not willing to put in some serious practice time, you should really get something a little less purposefully lethal.

Here's another in a similar vein, most of the questions are silly but some of the answers are laugh out loud funny.

quote:

Squid Test Evaluation

So far, 10986 people (including you) have responded to this Squid Test Survey and have been tabulated. Of those responses, the average grade is 52. Your grade was 81 (from 0 to 100), and 0 out of the 115 questions were left un-answered. The average number of questions answered in this test is 47.

A higher grade indicates a stronger sense of common decency, and a lower grade is an indication of conspicuous squidliness and general disregard for civilized society. Your score indicates that you are a fairly responsible motorcyclist but a bit of a wise-arse.

The other test kept putting me on the FJR or the R1 depending on my mood when taking it.

HAHA

600cc Sportbike
You scored 8 moxie, 5 zeal, and 1 pomp!
You are a squid. Your bike is a 600cc Japanese Sportbike. Take your pick, it really doesn't matter, since you're going to wad it.

You are the primary source of extra bits of fairing plastic on eBay.

When you're riding in the mountains, you have a hard time keeping up with that Olde Pharte on a Triumph Thruxton without blowing the centerline in the twisties and going WFO on every straight. (You're not a bad rider, but you're just not as good as you think you are.)

On a hot day, you're likely to be seen weaving through highway traffic at warp speed, wearing sneakers and a t-shirt blowing up your back.

The good news for you is that this is a temporary phase in your riding career. You will either (a) buzzsplat or (b) become more acutely conscious of your own mortality after a few minor but eye-openingly lucky crashes.

Take it to the track. You'll live longer.

Just took it again, now I'm a Duc 996. Just can't seem to draw that Buell, but at least Italian bikes handle...
Squid Test reveals: 64% - "a buffoon who doesn't take motorcycling nearly serious enough." Good!
