I thought I got a pretty good deal on the lower belt guard - 21 bucks after shipping. But when it arrived, it was warped to the point where it couldn't be installed. Anyone else get some quirky carbon fiber off of eBay recently?

I got a heat shield for my S1, and I just got frame covers for the XB, both seem like great parts. I got them from allcarbonfiber.

There were a few threads about the cheap carbon fiber on ebay. Everyone has said it is very low quality. It's just the one seller, allcarbonfiber, that has nothing but crap. I'd rather spend a little more and get quality parts.

I disagree. I bought a few pieces of carbon from them and it wasn't too bad. I only returned 1 part cause it didnt fit.

Why would you pay $7,000+ for your bike and then trick it out with cheap crap? Just buy the good stuff...

I also bought a few pieces for allcarbonfiber and i am waiting for them to arrive. Didn't pay to much so I figured it was worth a shot.

I got a couple of pieces as well. They aren't too bad, as long as all you are looking for is aesthetics. They require a little fitting and trimming to make work but for the price they aren't bad. And while it is not "pure" carbon fiber it is "real" carbon fiber if you know what I mean.

Allcarbonfiber's carbon parts may not become useful.
Moreover, the transportation cost which they demand is unfairly high.
An transportation cost cannot be regained even if it returns the goods!
