I know the '05 XB9sx is already on showroom floors. However, has anyone actually seen an '05 12R or 12S for sale yet?

I have an '04 XB9S and had a '04 XB9R but I have not received any '05s other than the CityX.

Thanks Craig.

ok... quick follow-up question: As a dealer, are you able to place orders the 12S/R yet?

I'm asking because I'm still working on purchasing an '05 12 locally - even though I just very recently purchased an '04 600RR. I'm still having problems getting information as to when the '05 12 models will be available for dealers to order.

cheers!

Damn Dave, I wish you were my dealer. Well at least I can make you my parts guy.

Hey, If I win the Pepsi Billion I'm gonna own me a Buell/HD shop. I'm gonna have to steal you away from there so you can help run my Buell Dealership. I did say I was gonna have a few HD's right? : )

I told my wife when I retire in a couple years that I'm gonna go sell Buells. She said she didn't care, as long as I brought home some money. : ) If I do that then I'm gonna have to meet you and watch you work. : )

My dealer's computer showed 4 '05 XB12's in California as of last Saturday. He had one of 'em, as well as one CX on the floor. As soon as my butt could be pried offa the 12cg, I reached for my checkbook. So I guess there are now 3 XB12's in California... heh heh.

ok im not sure if any of you know about it, but in iraq and kuwait they have a program that h-d/buell has were you can order a bike here and put $500 down and they will send it to your nearest dealership to were you live. well i went and talked to they guy that does this here in iraq and i was asking questions and i asked him about gettting a 05 xb9r in anothr color other than yellow, the guy told me he could get it in blue, black red or yello. well my question is, is the guy full of it or is it posible?

He can swap the body work with a 12R to get those colors that aren't available stock on the XB9 (Black and Red), but it will have the XB12R stickers on it.

well this guy never even sees the bike all he does is does the contract and stuff and then the bike gets sent to your nearest dealer from the factory; he has nothing to do with the bike or the dealer that recives the bike he just deals with h-d/buell its self

Well, either he's really interested in helping you out and will arrange to have $700+ dollars worth of plastic swapped on said bike or, more likely, he's confusing the XB12 and XB9 color schemes or is full of horse puckey.
