420 how bad are your wires? are they really trashed, or could you just run some heat shrink tubing over them to get by for a couple months and then build up your custom wires this winter.

Cripes, don't send him any money. There's no need to encourage him.

Like Fullpower said, unless they are broken inside the insulation, just fix them, for crying out loud. They'll at least last until you get new ones.

We used the stock wires on our race bike with no problems - just changed the plugs to NGK.

I haven't got an XB here at the moment to compare connection sizes, but if someone would be kind enough to post the size of the coil end connection here I'm sure there are leads to fit.

We have always used the Accel 300+ leads on our previous Buells and have definitely felt an improvement, but that may be subjective as we haven't done a back to back dyno test. They don't yet list a fitment for the XB specifically though.

plug wires, by in large, have no affect of performance at all -- any improvement felt is generally due to the facct that the ones replaced were trash by the time they are thrown out . . . .

420-

I haven't done any "big" transactions with Corey James, but I've bought a few things from him and never had any issues at all...we've spoken on the phone many times and he's always given me great advice.
I know a number of people here have problems with him and they may be totally legit - I don't know, and everyone is entitled to their opinion...but from my perspective he's great
