...but when I went to adjust the headbearings, when I released the tension on the pinch bolt that crack showed up...not sure if it was from the braking problem I was having or if it was over torqued...

Charlie I got the "S" model to fit up with the crossroads bars, just need a longer brake hose and possibly an extension of the ignition switch wireing, still looking at the possibilities there, its not pretty at the moment but it will work until I can afford a new triple tree. Might look into an aftermarket one, might not haven't decided yet...

Now might be a good time to switch to a "Helibar" setup. You get a new top clamp in the kit. Costs around $290. Got any pics of your "S bar" setup? Thanks

That's the exact same spot where my triple tree cracked. Then again it happened when I went down.

AZ28 I don't have the $300 to get the Helibars, as soon as I get the crossroads hooked back up and the new brakeline I will shoot pics.

Guess you won't be selling your crossroads now Wycked? Glad you found your crack before it got hairy...like 1000 ft up on the edge in the Salt River Canyon!!!
