my memory is failing me, i cant remember positively if i would be able to swap some xb9sl forks off of Jenns 03 firebolt onto an 06 xb12s. i cant remember when the fork diameter changed. i think by 06 the regular models had one size forks and the low/scg still had the smaller diameter fork? i suppose i could always swap trees also if need be. i MAY have the opportunity to pick up an 06 12s. if i do, i MAY set it up to be Jenns new bike, simply because with the low suspension i already put on her Firebolt, it works for her but im sure it would be even better combined with a low seat on the lightning. i know i know i could always put a lightning tail on her firebolt also... | ||

Yea you can swap it, you just need to swap the lower tree to match. Don't forget the kickstand. | ||

Think you should change the rear shock as well..If you are installing the sl forks....Which are shorter in length.... | ||

yep i know i need to swap the rear and kickstand also. ive done the swap a couple times on other xb's including her current one. its just been a few years and need a reminder on the forks. thanks | ||
