Considering this combination of mods to my XB9 and wondered if anyone who has this setup has dyno'd it. I am particularly interested in the effect on low and mid range torque....

Would consider the Drummer pipe instead of the Buell race kit pipe, but somehow I really love the look of that dual tip exhaust... and I am not really a racer anyway... just a street rider who likes the low down torque...

Thanks.

I have the factory race kit and am very very pleased with it. Nice sound and look but I can ride all day long and not go deaf either.

Nice increase in punch too and a bit smoother on the idle.

Happy customer.

I have an XB9S with the factory race kit... I just put an XB12 air box cover on the thing... but due to temps in the teens... I have not butt dynoed the thing.

I too would be interested in what it would dyno.

I put the 12 airbox, pulled the snorkel, fitted a K&N filter and slipped on a Drummer on my 9R. After a 40 mile loop Sunday ( sunny and 74 degrees) I can affirm that by my white boy wide ass feel the combo FEELS about 20-25% stronger. Pulls steady to the redline much quicker, rolling from 70-110 MUCH quicker. I've got, but haven't put on the race ecm, YET. Other than raise the redline cutout, I can't figure it does much more than the stock does after it gets use to the set up. I think the drummer sounds just about right, good rumble at idle, and just enough of the popping and growl on a downshift. Its prob about 3/4 as loud as the D&D on my X1.

I've got exactly that , just fitted (Buell race kit & 12 box).I haven't dynoed it ,but It revs out much better/crisper...but its lost just a little grunt between 3500-4500 ish , it needs a bigger handfull to pop the front wheel up at these revs...(my wheelies are shite anyhow)but you soon get over it. Much better allround though , I'm well chuffed.
Drummer seems impressive , though I got a corking deal on the race kit...and no warranty worries.

Mate , i love this bike....just wish it would stop f###ing raining!
